More from the mind changing parasite
-
A couple of months ago I posted about Toxoplasma gondii. It is a parasite that causes mice to have a risk taking and fearless behavior. Scientists speculated that it could influence human behavior the same way. It is a very common parasite. It is estimated to infect 89% of France's population, 65% of Brazilians, 34% of Americans and 22% of British. Now, a new "research" indicates it might influence women's behavior in a very interesting way: they would become more sex-hungry[^]:-D
'My country, right or wrong' is a thing no patriot would ever think of saying except in a desperate case. It is like saying 'My mother, drunk or sober.'
GK ChestertonJudging by what it does to men, the French are in deep doodoo.

Don't think so ... they are probably distracted with what it does to woman.

I can't always be wrong ... or can I?"Infected men have lower IQs, achieve a lower level of education and have shorter attention spans. They are also more likely to break rules and take risks, be more independent, more anti-social, suspicious, jealous and morose, and are deemed less attractive to women." Given that, it's a futile distraction...

:-O Thanks, fixed...

Starring Jessica Biel, Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley. I'll watch it....
"When you have made evil the means of survival, do not expect men to remain good. Do not expect them to stay moral and lose their lives for the purpose of becoming the fodder of the immoral. Do not expect them to produce, when production is punished and looting rewarded. Do not ask, `Who is destroying the world?' You are."

Damn, if the French are independent risk takers now, what the hell were they like before they got infected?:~
I find it odd that we celebrate diversity by trying to do away with it

GK ChestertonI think putting 'reasearch' in quotes was appropriate. I rather doubt the claims, unless it's a result of brain damage. I would expect different people to exhibit different changes. http://www.cdc.gov/NCIDOD/dpd/parasites/toxoplasmosis/factsht_toxoplasmosis.htm[^]
