I have a very small network at home consisting of a desktop, which also acts as an ICS gateway, and a laptop. Both systems are running WinXP Pro. Infact, I have just installed it on my laptop and notice that it's constantly communicating with my desktop PC using TCP port 2869 (ICSLAP). Is this normal? Can I stop it doing this? It's a little annoying since my HD is being accessed during this. So far, the only way to stop it is to disable my network adapter when I don't need LAN or Net access. Anyone got any ideas? Cheers, Free
