My brother found this on the net this morning ... interesting read ... enjoy! Here's a little part of US history which makes you go h-m-m-m: Have a history teacher explain this if they can? Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946. Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960. The names Lincoln and Kennedy each contain seven letters. Both were particularly concerned with civil rights. Both wives lost their children while living in the White House. Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. Both Presidents were shot in the head. Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy. Kennedy's secretary was named Lincoln. Both were assassinated by Southerners. Both were succeeded by Southerners. Both successors were named Johnson. Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908. John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born! ! in 1839. Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939. Both assassins were known by their three names. Both names are composed of fifteen letters. Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Kennedy.' Kennedy was shot in a car called 'Lincoln.' Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse. Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater. Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials. And here's the kicker... A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland. A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

So... is it bad omen to be elected to congress in 2046? And what if the US decided to switch to base 12 instead of 10, starting now?

This has been around the net for about a decade. Some of it is true, some of it is completely false and all of it means nothing once you've looked at the number of things that aren't similar between JFK and Lincoln. Cheers, Drew.

Exhibit this in a TV show and watch in this year the increased number of mothers with babies named "John Abraham Lincoln F. Kennedy" :->

Piece of cake... given the infinite number of facts to describe two people, you simply choose to publish those facts that show coincidence. My 1st wife did this with her "true love" (not me: I was the stepping stool). If you tell me EVERYTHING about you, I can find at least as many coincidences, probably double since we are still alive and doing things in life. There's a coincidence though... we're both on CP. My second edition of 3D graphics was named CCAVE, your name here begins with Cave. See, it is easy. :-D Snopes reference[^]

Lincoln was shot at the Ford Theater. Kennedy was riding in a Lincoln Continental (made by the Ford Motor Company).

So, Mrs. Lincoln, other than that, how did you like the play?
