Holy old computer Batman
-
We usually try to keep employees computers and laptops up-to-date. At the end of the fiscal year we usually see sites wanting to upgrade there workstations and laptops. With that in mind, an employee in administration came in today talking about a program that we used to use that she liked. She then hands a case over and asked if we could work on it. I open the case and what do my wondering eyes behold? A Gateway 2000 SOLO :omg: The thing is not very wide or long but it is over 3.5 inches high. So I boot it up and what do i see but the ye olde slow memtest showing that it was a 150MHz MMX processor running 32MB of ram with Windows 95 installed. Ok. At that point I was rather impressed that this single machine was still lurking in the offices. So I decide to see how much of the 1.34 Gig HDD was in use and also found out that it hadn't been booted up in nearly 3 years. I tried to google an image up but all the images I found went to pages that nolonger exist :sigh: Now I get to enjoy typing a phrase into DOS that I haven't typed in a long time FORMAT C:
