Yeah, I've got somewhere around 40 gigs or so I think... I do listen to music but... lately my kids have been in here playing and building things and I'd honestly way rather listen to them... I have younger kids 6, 5, 2 and my wife's office (where she does my books) is upstairs and at the other end of the house. So I like to keep my ears tuned in to the kids and I *never* mind having all 3 of them in my office making mayhem. It's fun to hear the exchanges, ideas and the laughter. It won't last forever but I can listen to music any time...

dude I had exactly the same kind of day today, I spent more time reading articles than I did coding today! I'm glad I wasn't the only one :-)

Sorry, but I'd probably try to join you. I did it for a while when I was in high school. I definitely have some fond memories.

In the UK we read this as you only wear under pants to work? I now have this vision of someone sitting at thier cubicle in the shirt and tie and under pants!!

Oh, OK. Thoughts of achieving that are what keep me working, when I have long days to get through. I still love programming, but if I have to do a stretch of 14-16 hour days, I start to wish I was doing something else, for at least some of the day.

Wanna do a house swap for a month? 25-30 degrees and sunny day in day out here at the moment

System.IO.Path.IsPathRooted() does not behave as I would expect

Oh, nice. This is why I never go anyplace nice :P Actually, my wife is threatening a family holiday later in the year. I was supposed to visit the Amazon in two weeks, but it fell apart due to time problems. That would have been cool, I hope to still do it, sometime.

In the UK we read this as you only wear under pants to work? I now have this vision of someone sitting at thier cubicle in the shirt and tie and under pants!!
