      Living in tropical paradise isn't all its cracked up to be. To be honest I only where pants at work. ( I wear shorts the rest of the time)

      In the UK we read this as you only wear under pants to work? I now have this vision of someone sitting at thier cubicle in the shirt and tie and under pants!!

              Oh, OK. Thoughts of achieving that are what keep me working, when I have long days to get through. I still love programming, but if I have to do a stretch of 14-16 hour days, I start to wish I was doing something else, for at least some of the day.

                      Oh, nice. This is why I never go anyplace nice :P Actually, my wife is threatening a family holiday later in the year. I was supposed to visit the Amazon in two weeks, but it fell apart due to time problems. That would have been cool, I hope to still do it, sometime.

                                It was the most incredible 8 days of my life. My wife and I have been very depressed since coming back. We're going to sell cookies door-to-door if we have to but we are going back. We decided we need a vacation more often than every 12 years...:doh:

                                  Move to Hawaii!! There are a few IT company there and it's just the way you like.... Or maybe go to Bali, the place of endless summer. On top of that with a few years of American savings you could live all your life over there (albeit simply..) :D

                                      Forgot to tell you Jamaica is directly south of Florida so it's in the same weather/seasons as the U.S. for the most part. So December is the *very* off-season time to go there. The tourist season is March thru September.

                                        I go to work in short and TShirt. In fact I have a dream job: interesting, casual, accomodating, challenging, in a nice location!
