Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis. I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Cricket's not for me, I'd much rather watch Rugby Union.

What a game? I wanted Ireland to win, but a tie is also not bad.

I was happy with either team winning (having lived in both countries) but a draw was pretty weird.

Cricket must be an acquired taste, something you had to grow up with. From my perspective here in Canada, cricket is just about the most incomprehensible sport in the world. From watching brief clips of it on BBC world news (which one must assume are the exciting bits) I am bored instantly. I'm sure I would feel differently if I watched it live in a stadium with friends in India or England or Australia or wherever, but I'd rather watch just about anything else (except golf). Ice Hockey is where it's at in this country and we are nearing the playoffs and my team is in, so I fully understand everyone's excitement here over cricket, I just don't get the sport at all.:)

I guess so. And I guess it helps if you've actually played the game.

If there's one sport I actively avoid watching, that's golf :)
