At risk of taking the wrath for linking to a post in another forum, I'm going to take the leap since this is NOT a programming question (I don't need help with my code)... it is more of a BUG question. Here is the link: http://www.codeproject.com/script/comments/forums.asp?forumid=1640&select=1945748&df=100&mpp=50&msg=1945748[^] Has anyone else seen this after upgrading Windows Server 2003 to SP2? The example I provide in that link is ultra, ultra simple -- and has worked for YEARS upon YEARS until a couple days ago when I installed SP2. Nothing else was done to the server except installing SP2. The server has no other problems -- none with any of the ASP or ASP.NET web sites hosted on it -- or anything else at all. Just this one simple issue that reared its ugly head for no apparent reason. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar problem or if I'm just completely missing something (non-programming related)?

Code that has run fine for years started going completely spastic around the time SP2 was installed. Anyone trying to modify their profile or sign up would have seen the issue. I call it a coincidence...

K, thanks. I give up. Time to wack a feature off the site until I can rewrite the entire thing in ASP.NET. :sigh:

I'm getting a "Could not create a Disk Cache Sub-directory for the Application Pool" since I installed SP2 today. Horrible! Tried multipe suggestions from EventID.net and MS Knowledge Base, without success :-(

I uninstalled SP2 now, and everything is working now.
