Totally... we've been having network problems around here lately because of Exchange server being weird. This is will totally freak everyone out... and it doesn't go away when you move the mouse... you have to hit 'alt'... which nobody will think of. Our Monday morning meeting is gonna be funny :)

Switch the mouse buttons, slow the mouse down all the way, enable mouse trails, and finally drop resolution and color depth as far as it will go. This happened recently to someone who forgot to lock their workstation when they stepped away. Was good fun.

A good one for developers: Go into the Visual Studio options dialog and change the colour for keywords and language braces to their normal background colour.

My favorite along those lines is to take a screenshot of someones desktop when they are away from the computer, make a folder, put all their desktop icons into it then set the wallpaper to be the screenshot.

If you work where there is a server room or just want make a friend wonder, go where the computer(s) are and light the end of a scrap peice of insulated wire and blow it out. Can drive them nuts trying to figure out which computer is having problems :)
