... is that you can never really get the specifics. For instance if you are dreaming of a chance reunion with an old friend and he is giving you his phone number or email address or any other specifics ... note that you will never be able to get it ... most of us wake up at this point of time. On the other hand if you are giving out your information ... you don't have a problem. So I guess dreams aren't a great way to get information :)

I'm not sure ,but in dreams you are not supposed to read alphanumeric's or letters . I tried to read notes or newspapers in my dreams. But I have only limited success in doing so. Has anyone tried to have Lucid dreams? In Lucid dreaming you can train yourself to act on certain queue's.

How have you managed to figure that out, that would be awesome!

if you want to have crazy dreams, before you goto sleep, tell yourself that you are going to remember your dreams. sounds stupid, but after a few days, you will have more vivid dreams, and actually have a good recollection of them in the morning. i learned that in a psych class in college. but, its not like "awesome! im dreaming, im going to fly over here and wrestle with godzilla" or like an interactive movie.

VonHagNDaz, You have the very basics of Lucid dreaming. thumbs up! Now try to half awake and see if your limbs or arms can move. I bet you can't move them, I've tried and I amaze myself that I cannot even see my arms waving about even though I am trying to. One other thing is its very hard to have a repeating dream. You can have somewhat similar ones.:zzz::zzz:

I use technology to help me with lucid dreaming :P .. I put the cell phone under my pillow and than when the alarm goes off, I click on the rear button to switch it off and immediately go back to sleep. After 10 minutes the clock goes back on and I'm woken up only for a sec and I have my finger on the button, I just click the button and fall back to sleep. I can do this up to an hour or so and it is simply amazing, how vivid the dreams are and all the details I remember. But usually I forget it somewhat till the evening, so if I dream something worth remembering, I immediately write it down when I completely wake up.
