I am planning to take a bundled package (High speed Internet + cable + phone). Has anyone been using cox or verizon? I am not sure which company to choose, any inputs from existing users would be helpful, if you do know of any other company which offers a better service then I could have a look at it. BTW I am in Louisiana.

Would this[^] influence your decisions? I use my connection for work, that includes remote source code control, regular download of the most recent build, MSDM subscription downloads, etc. I would likely exceed their 60 GB/month limit from time to time...(that's only 3 GB/ workday after all).

60 gb looks fine for me. I am not going to use it for work, just for my personal use.

I've had Verizon DSL for over a year, and my only complaint is the POS router that chokes and resets itself under heavy load (but I can work around it, usually). I paid for 3 Mb down and I actually get 3 Mb. Their tech support has been competent about 75% of the time, which exceeded my expectations.

I will not play with Verizon ever since I found out that they allow spammers to use their networks. They also have a real problem with their blocking, and are being sued over it. Too bad you don't have a better choice... COX isn't much better.
