I'm not a native English speaker, I just read some words like "get half your brain removed", what's the exact meaning in plain English? I'm guessing that it's something bad.

OK - I'm a native English speaker, and I've never heard this phrase. What was the exact phrase? -- modified at 5:42 Thursday 12th April, 2007 I guess the phrase is "he's only got half a brain". If so, it means he's not the sharpest tool in the toolbox.

Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.

I guess that means either of: - he is not very smart - he is more stupid now that he used to be...

or.. -he had half his brain removed! I have seen it on a documentary about a young girl and also dramatized on House MD.

I'm guessing it stems (originates) from the Lobotomy[^].

Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis. I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
