My friends asked me how I enjoyed my vacation and I told them that I watched and played as much cricket as I could. So their reply was "Cricket it is worse then watching wet paint dry". I donot get it. Cricket is more thrilling then any other gain invented by mankind. Watching Baseball or Football is not even half as thrilling or exciting as watching cricket. I think any impartial non American would agree with me on that.

I'm British, and I hate cricket. You'll probably find that most people do. :) Simon Following an eye test, I have discovered that I do not need pointdexter-style glasses with 6-inch thick steel frames in order to continue staring at my monitor. How gutted am I? Sonork ID 100.10024

He's right, I'm British and I hate the game. I don't know anyone who watches or plays it either. Although I enjoy golf and snooker, 2 sports which can fairly span time, I fail to see even a pulse of excitment in cricket. Do they not just have to smack around ball for 5 days? :-D It ain't what you know that matters. Uncle Monkey

Rama, I've never seen cricket played. I know nothing of the rules. I don't hate it, i know nothing of it! Yeah, i could watch it on pay-per-view, but it is insanely expensive. :( If you want to write an article "Cricket for ignorant Americans", go right ahead :-D --------_**

Well not really. Firstly I'm not English, secondly does England even have a cricket team anymore? I thought everyone got fed up beating them all the time and they just gave up :P It ain't what you know that matters. Uncle Monkey

Cricket sucks. Football sucks. Baseball sucks. Give me a comfy chair, a fast internet connection, an IDE and a few good books any day. And you don't spend much time with the opposite sex working day and night, unless the pizza delivery person happens to be young, cute, single and female.
