AOA! As u know that in FTP these days the restart feature(resuming an incomplete download) is very much necessary. In FTP specification i have read that restart can only be supported when the transfer mode is either BLOCK or COMPRESSED. But IIS supports REST command which is used for restarting an incomplete transfer. now i want to use IIS 5.0 on the server side and also give restart feature in the client application communicating with IIS, but IIS doesnt support either BLOCK or COMPRESSED MODE (REF:MSDN Jan 2002) Can Anyone give me a better idea about how to get around this problem,so taht i can give restart feature on the client side ? Thanx HOPING FOR A QUICK REPLY :)
