Just recently someone graded 1s for my articles. It's a pity that such things happen here in the code project. Anyway, the grader seems to be amongst the last idiots in the IT.

Ok, if it deserves 1 then let the grade be one. But I was disappointed about the fact that all my articles were graded [at the same time] 1. what i do complain about are the people who would use your code and still won't rate anything. This happens much more frequently than 1s :) This is another story to speak about though. Personally I grade not so frequently, though when doing it, my grades are to the artices and their content not something else.

I think of 1s on my articles as, "I don't need that right now, but I'll remember it when I do". A 5 means, "What perfect timing! Just what I needed right now!" A 3 means, "Where were you last week when I needed that?"

Maybe some of those people are like me... new to c#, needing some code to play with, don't know enough to determine if the code we are pulling deserves a 1 or a 5. I won't feel confident grading for at least another six months. And even then only on articles that cover ground I have worked with directly. In the meantime I may use some code posted on this board in adherence with the attached licenses. When I do start voting my scale will go something like this: 5 = Clear presentation of a technique I have worked with including optimization or restructuring that had not occured to me and/or applications of the technique that had not occurred to me. 3 = Decent presentation of a technique I have worked with... would have been helpful for me to read while I was learning that technique, but I did just as well without the article. 1 = Something I could implement or explain much better even though I am a c# noob. No Score = I am thouroughly unqualified to evaluate. I don't even feel qualified to comment on c# code yet. ANyone feel this is a bad approach? Regards, And thanks for the code.
