error in IIS.

I am new to ASP.net. after create an virtual directory, then i got the following error. "configuraing the website "http://localhost/winsec1\\... " to asp.net 2.0 failed. You may need to manually configure this site for asp.net 2.0 inorder for your site to run correctly" please help how to solve it. Thanks in advance

Go to IIS(type inetmgr in Run) Go to the virtual directory you have created. Right click on the Virtual directory -> properties -> ASP.NET tab -> Change the Asp.net Version to 2.0.50727 Then Refresh virtual directory
