Christian, I tried taking some pictures at work today although I could not find a STL book, but they did look very nice and I was not impressed, so over the week I will see if I can get some Pics done in a studio or by a professional. Yes I do worry about my appearance, but am equally surprised so many others seem to judge me by it here. Are all Girls who work in computing meant to be non attractive ? :rose: Janice :rose:

If you really are the chick in the photo then I doubt anyone here would judge you based on the fact that you appear to be hot. At least, I would certainly hope not. But when your 11 posts to date ( when this thread started ) are all about finding boyfriends and the like, AND your photo is obviously professionally shot, and looks like it came from a Victoria's Secret catalog, then there's not a lot of credibility there, I'm afraid. 2. Ultimately it seems very bizarre to me that you'd rise to my ( half joking ) challenge to the point of paying a studio to take the shots. My thought was that if you had a digital camera kicking around, it would be easy to do, not that you would spend money for the sake of proving you're a girl. Janice wrote: Are all Girls who work in computing meant to be non attractive ? I do not for a moment believe that, nor does anyone else who has seen the online photos of our other female CPians. The difference is that they participate in the site by discussing programming, and their photos are obviously not professionally shot, and they are fully clothed in them. I could care less if you are male or female, attractive or a bush pig. I am both on the other side of the world, and happily married, so for those two reasons my interaction with you is based on the stuff you post, which is the same regardless of your sex or appearance. The point is just that several of us felt the evidence in terms of the photo for your profile, the posts you have made, and the fake email address you've used to register lean towards the possibility that 'Janice' does not exist. But if I'm wrong, then to hell with me. Your life should not need to be validated by my opinion, or anyone elses. When I say current affairs I mean everything current. Do you not keep up to date with technology, or are you still programming in assembly...? :) What I really meant...is that...i've been really lucky in the looks department, but none of them even knew what a monitor was/is...How could a guy as into computers as I am possibly be compatible with a girl who doesn't even know the major parts of a computer. Hello...where have you been kinda thing... Janice wrote: normally have got better work responses at codeguru.com. Work responses...? Warning - this message contains abusive and downright ugly words. If you have a weak constitution, I suggest you go to the next message for your entertainment. You have been warned. Scroll to see the rest... 1) Anybody that wants to meet someone with the intent of starting a romantic relationship based solely on ICQ chat exchanges is a fuckin' loser (actually BOTH people are fuckin' losers). 2) If you post an obviously false photo of yourself, people here are gonna think you're a guy posing as a chick. In fact, you said that you exchanged photos with each other. How about showing us one of the pics you supposedly sent to bait the other loser into buying an airline ticket just to meet you. 3) If you are a chick, and you don't want to "teach a guy anything", you're not really a chick (every women *I've* ever met thinks they have something to teach a man), so you're just a true flaming bitch who cares nothing about anyone or anything but herself, and I hope you die alone with only your cats to watch your final minutes on this earthly plane. 4) Who truly gives a rat's ass about your lovelife unless it directly affects one of us? 5) You've been registered here since February of this year, and I can't honestly remember seeing a post from you before today. "Friends"? I think that's stretching it a bit until you've posted a few hundred messages and gotten your hands dirty with some truly meaningful topics (both here and in the Soapbox forum), and not the insufferable bilge water posts like this one. 6) Wasting my time on these kinds of posts really pisses me off. If you're really a chick and your feelings are hurt, tough shit - I ain't no politician, and you brought it on yourself. If you're a guy posing as a chick, you're in serious need of prison life (you'll find lots of friends in there that want to make you their bitch), because you're just a latent faggot exploring your new sense of self in the wrong goddamn place. I disagree...personally i've had to pull asshole and walk right by the girl I was suppose to meet after a ICQ session. I told her prior to meeting that sex appeal is everything at first, so don't bother if your fat and ugly. My choice is mutually exclusive...one or the other, but BOT both. :wtf: However...if the girl is a pretty why not connect at the hips for a night or two...? Mind you...air travel is pushing it...but some people are really horny. ;P John Simmons / outlaw programmer wrote: If you post an obviously false photo of yourself, people here are gonna think you're a guy posing as a chick. He's brings an interesting point into spotlight though... Most people that post fake photos are usually teenage boys...however...(Carmen Electra was a good choice ) i'm no linguist or anything, but none of messages really suggest pre-teen male behavior...which usually include the so-called seven dirty words...which are in no particular order: Blah blah blah...and so on.... I choose a fake photo, only because... Well... I have a face for radio... Cheers! :) "An expert is someone who has made all the mistakes in his or her field" - Niels Bohr
