detailsview as item template in datalist,asp.net2.0+c#

im using a details view control as a item template in the datalist.. i have linkbutton in the datalist.eg empid if i click on tat i have to show the detailsview of tat empid...one empid can contain many records...like contactaddress,permenent address.. how can i do this? thanks in advance..

Hey its very simple in the detials view you can able to show only one record ie., if you click any one of the empid it will show only the details abt that empid For more detials Clickety[^]

hw can i take the empid n bind it withe the details view dynamically..?
