I am sitting here staring at my screen being as non-productive as can be so I thought let's do something useful. Visit the lounge and ask people what their vacation plans are. I myself have plans to visit Australia and/or New Zeeland (and/or depends on the budget...) at the end of the year. Anybody else planning on going to the other end of the world? - Jan

I'm off to Poland in two weeks but unfortunately it's for business, not pleasure. But I do have a stag weekend in Prague to look forward to :beer::beer::beer::beer: A computer program will always do what you tell it to do, but rarely what you want to do

My girlfriend and I have bought us a house, so the most of our vacation is reserved for painting and whatever must be done before actually moving in. The next vacation week, which is hopefully more relaxing, is the last week of August, we stay in Denmark though, visiting my parents in the small town Skagen which is the northmost place in Denmark. Jan van den Baard wrote: Anybody else planning on going to the other end of the world? Well not the other end of the world, but out of the city at least. I have two weeks leave coming up in June (no really! This is not some fantasy of mine, I really am taking leave off, first time in 2 and a half years) and plan to spend it driving up the Garden Route (east coast of South Africa) with Janina, camping wherever we want to stop. It is a lovely drive, lots of lush tropical jungle with beautiful beaches, quaint towns and all the tourist traps you can wish for. No computers, no cellphones, no TV... just the open road, a tent and my love. (I wonder if I can dawdle around for the next 2 weeks without anyone noticing? hmmm) regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love, and to be loved in return - Moulin Rouge Tim Smith wrote: Over here in the third world of humor (a.k.a. Chamonix in the French Alps, at the base of Mont Blanc, the tallest Mountain on Europe. The Chamonix valley is higher than the tallest mountain in Britain!! I'm typical english speaker and can't speak any other language, so I'll leave it up to my Mrs who's fluent in French  The snow should be on it's way out, so hopefully there'll be lots of places to go walking in the sun. If I try that up most mountains on Britain in mid-summy I'll still get nothing but cloud! Jeremy Davis http://www.astad.org
