New version of the Posting Toolbar is up
-
I have implemented most of the requested features and I have made the whole thing dramatically more cross browser compatible. I still have a couple of features to implement and compatibility issues to work out, but I thought I would post the most recent version for everybody to look over and shake down while I finish up. If you find anything that you think it needs, anything you think doesn't work right, or if you just have a comment about it please post it in this thread. I will keep an eye on it and track any issues that come up. http://www.jystad.net/replytoolbar.htm [new window]

--Larry Wall (Programming Perl)I see you fixed the caret position problem. You should keep a revision history also so we can see all the features and test them. A combo with fonts will be cool also. Best regards, Alexandru Savescu

Work is just crazy right now. X| ****Alexpro wrote: A combo with fonts will be cool also. I thought about that, but I came up with so many complications that I havn't done anything with it yet. I'll keep trying to see if I can come up with a way to do it. Now, back to work. X|

You are specifically trying to come up with features that are a pain in the arse to implement in a web UI aren't you? I'll add it to the list though. ;p

--Larry Wall (Programming Perl)and a spell checker - we need a javascript spell checker in it that is less than 20Kb, cross browser and will fix all my spelling mistakes automatically. Mwahaha. Ah - the joy of being on the other side of the fence :D cheers, Chris Maunder

From now on we can call C# and MC++ "The square wheel languages"

Absolutely! I actually was planning on doing this with the ASP.NET version (which keeps getting pushed back because of a poor planning decision by the guy who decided how many hours in the day there'd be) cheers, Chris Maunder
