ASUS notebook pointer speed not sticking...

I have a new ASUS notebook (model AJS). When I open the mouse control panel and set the pointer speed, it defaults to the original setting after a shutdown/restart. Any clues as to why this happens and how to prevent it? TIA!

My guess is, the mouse drivers suck. Try looking for an update.

Yes, but can you blame them for doing so if that's the only legal way they can hire programmers they want at the rate they can afford?
