If you have forgotten the Content Advisor password, you can reset it by taking the instructions here: http://www.pchell.com/support/contentadvisor.shtml[^]

In Internet Explorer, go to the "Internet Options", then the "Content" tab. There is a section there labelled, "Content Advisor". Try disabling it, or even just fiddling with the options...

I tried that and the donly results was being asked for the administrators password to make the changes.

Thanks to all that have replied. :-D The main problem was that there had never been a password used in the first place. So the question was: How do you type in an non-existant password in the first place? I have even tried going to the user information section on the control panel and typeing in a password. The content Advisor still won't even except that. :sigh:

You're right. For a true fix, use Linux.

You heretic! An abacus is far cheaper, easier to install, never needs upgrading, and consumes less of the world's precious electricity! Not only that, but it doesn't require expensive peripherals (unless, of course, you buy a computer to check your results).

if the system is having problems with a blank admin password, log in as admin (should be easy since no PW). Set an actual password and then log back in as your normal user.
