If I developed website using ASP.net does visitors to my website, or those who are filling up forms and ordering from website ,does they also require to download .net platform. I know little about ASP and ASP.net, But one thing is sure I cannot tell all my clients to download .net platform. Basically I am VC++ programmer so I cannot go to Java world. and basically dont want to go away from microsoft. So please give me some guidance where should I go ASP or ASP.net.

You have been a member long enough to know not to use 'urgent' in your message titles.

You only need the framework on the server, as this is where all your .net code will be executed. You might want to do a little bit of reading about how server side technologies work.

Your question shows that you do not know enough about web development to even attempt this project. ASP.NET is always the only choice, buy a book and work through it before you begin.

I always choose .NET but I'm not sure it's always the only choice. CP is still running ASP, no?
