Ahh. You were doing so well and now you've blown it.:sigh: Read a bit further in your Bible and you'll come accross something called the resurection. Only the greatest moment in history so far. Not sure how you managed to miss it actaully. If it's a little tricky to understand you could get an excellent relatively modern book about it called "Who moved the stone?" by C.S. Lewis.
Nothing is exactly what it seems but everything with seems can be unpicked.

I think the word you're looking for is faery. That particular story which conatains no fairies was written by someone who understood the truth of the resurrection. He specifically avoided allegory and that is one reason why he did not write that Gandalf was resurrected, merely that he was sent back, which you have conveniently interpreted.

Actually, no. Plan A was to include the pyramids on the list to be voted on. The pyramid fans loudly protested at the indignity of being forced to compete in such a way. Thus they switched to plan B. No? How do you figure. Christ the Redeemer is a wonder. The Great Pyramid of Giza is not. Who cares about their methodology? And why would a poured concrete statue or be a greater wonder than something like the Eiffel Tower. It's just plain old stupid. Oddly enough, they have found the body of pharaoh and the bodies of other important people of past. But they have yet to uncover the body of Christ.

I'm amazed The World's Largest Prairie Dog[^] didn't make the list. It's a marvel beyond anything else I have seen. :rolleyes:

Good to see the World's Largest Peach(water tower actually) is listed. :) It's about 20 min. from my house. Some locals refer to it as the Big Butt or Peachoid. Peach/Butt[^]

:laugh: Nice! At least that thing resembles the real thing. I actually stopped by to see the Prairie Dog (driving across Kansas is incredibly boring) and was a little let down by what amounted to little more than a pile of brown concrete with eyes. Good for a laugh, though. :)
