I'd still get the extra Ram... page file will be way slower than memory... even if it's a scsi drive

- Windows XP - 1 Gig 2) MS Visual Studio .NET - 1 Gig (including MSDN library) 3) Pagefile - 0.25-0.5 Gig ---- 47.5 Gigs left 4) Music - 47.5 Gig You can't hack that code without music! ;) (And no, ordinary CDs won't do it - unless someone gives me a fully programmable 100 slot CD-jukebox). Sonorked as well: 100.13197 jorgen FreeBSD is sexy.

Well since we're into showing off...I might as well do the same. Doesn't happen all that often anyway (at least for me). I see your Athlon XP 1600 and raise you a 2.2 GHz P4. We're a match on the GeForce4 though, unless you went for one with "only" 64 megs. Mine's got 128. :-) The rest of the hardware comes from the system this one is going to replace. 40GB hard drive (though it's getting seriously cramped), and 512MB RAM I had stockpiled from last year when the prices were low.
