What I hate about it is that you can't use your hands! Most other sports make/let you use your entire body in some way. And what's with the "ball hitting head" thing? That hurts! :( Like it or not, I'm right.

Soccer is more exciting when it's played by amateurs, where points are scored more easily. When it's played by pros, scoring is a lot more difficult and the game becomes a boring chase-the-ball fest. When that ball fips on the back end and takes a dead left turn on a beeline for the 1-3, the pins just disappear like they were never there. Now you're talking my language. A bowler too, eh? I pretty much dumped bowling when I fell in love with pool a couple of years ago. However, when I did bowl, I won my fair share of pot games and scratch league money :) I love pool, but the one thing pool doens't have is that glorious sound of a revved up reactive resin ball ripping through a rack! I've got a nice set of Ping Eye 2 irons, but just don't have a great feel. Then again, I've only played about 3 times. It's like your situation with bowling.
