Is ther any way to clear the explorer address bar in w2k. Clearing the history (as suggested by microsoft) does not clear the address bar history which is now very cluttered. (I have also killed off the temp internet files & cookies) I have searched the registry and scanned all files searching for the text but cannot find a match - it must be encrypted somewhere.... Any ideas ?

Hmmm... Nobody seems to be able to answer my question. Maybe there is no answer. I have however come up with an alternative - it is a bit rough but fixes my clutter problem. I have deleted and re-created my user account. (yuk !!) Lucky I wasn't using the administrator account... Thanks anyway...

The clear history has always worked for me. If it is still not working for you, aside from reinstalling IE, you could decrease the number of days that.it keeps page(s) in history from 20. HTH Nick Parker
