Well, I've had some downtime for the last few weeks, and I have been wanting to release some shareware. I have some more substantial shareware projects under development, but I wanted to "get my feet wet" with something. First, let me say that I am not advertising here, and I will give anyone that is a member of The Code Project as of today (6/6/2002) a FREE registration code at their request, just send an email to me at dana@xenossoftware.com. The program is called Lucid, and it lets you enable transparency effects on any window. I plan to intergrate it into the display properties dialog, but right now it runs in the tray. Oh yes, it requires Windows 2000/XP. If you want to check it out visit the web site in my sig to download it. -- Dana Holt Xenos Software

Good luck with your product. :) After a poor performance in London in 1899, Steinitz went insane and died a year later on August 12, 1900 at Wards Island, N.Y.
