 I laughed when I read the description of the 3 parts... Unfortunately, there are quite a lot of tensions right now and some politicians would like to split Belgium (separate flanders from wallonia). But I can't imagine all the problems that will result (the biggest one being Brussels). I hope that it will stay as crazy ideas only :sigh: As a waloon living in flanders with a flemish girlfriend, I don't know what I will do ;P

Actually, Belgium is best thought of as a 'scientific model' introduced to account for the non-emulsive suspension of French culture in a Flemish medium, though recent experiments attempting to prove the validity of this model failed miserably in the Congo. If this seems a curt assesment, one can take refuge in the fact that Idaho does indeed exist, and is doing just fine, thankyou.

Really I always thought Belguim was a British invention, just look at all that good beer they produce.

In fact we're just hoping to get this sale out of the way before news of Belgium Mark II leaks out. It's been a long time in development and the improvements are too numerous to mention but suffice to say it's a bit more like Surrey than the last version and we think we've finally fixed the cheese problem. Fingers crossed it makes it through testing and we can launch in time for Christmas.

Nothing is exactly what it seems but everything with seems can be unpicked.

And we're supposed to believe this, coming from someone with a French last name?

Again, it's not a question of belief so much as adherence to the model. For example, I can't subscribe to the theory of those little 'electron' thingies passing along a wire, but you can do a lot of neat stuff (like make toast, for example) by following that model. Which is a tad frustrating for the purist. "No! You're wrong!" I cry. To which the cretins respond, "Ah, but look: Toast!" A complete quantum monkey button hypothesis is, however, years away, so we'll just have to make do. So to with Belgium, but thankfully, not Idaho. Surrey we're not sure of.

You could try asking asking for asylum.;P Now seriously, I'm wondering when people will notice that the country is running without a national government and is doing fine (at least for now). We still have our jobs and we still receive medical care, so why do we need them. Saves out a lot of paychecks for those minister.
