C# students get together London
-
Hi I am (as can be seen from my profile) an aspiring C# programmer/developer. I am living in the UK and am seeking to get in contact with other C# students or experienced programmers. I am close to London and would like to setup some kind of informal study groups with other C# students in the same area. I am sure there must be people out there with similar needs. I am currently using this forum to read about coding queries and the like but I would still like some live demonstrations or discussions. Contact me here if you are interested. Thanks Francois Benadie

what I really had in mind was to have students and the odd experienced C# programmer get together in London or surround for regular "study groups", say once a month or more regular? I am busy with a home study for MCAD in C#, and feel that I am not cutting it alone:(. Thus I figured to see if there are like minded people around so we could benefit from learning all this programming stuff together. Ed, what will you be studying at Imperial, is it Information Systems? Nah! Electrical and Electronics Engineering, I know the software side of things very well and thought I'd get myself more knowledgeable in the hardware side of things.

I can't say much but it depends on my commitments which I don't know yet, I know the course is fairly intensive.

You might want to consider joining the ACCU[^] - they hold regular gatherings in London, and I know of at least one member specialising in C# in the London area.
