Hi, I've stumbled upon Mingle from ThoughtWorks Studios (http://studios.thoughtworks.com/mingle-project-intelligence[^]) and as it looked kind of promising I installed the windows version on my laptop and on a test server. The laptop install doesn't work with FireFox (produces some strange java.io.IOException) and the server install won't let me delete a project I created for test purposes. I posted a message to their bug reports forum (http://studios.thoughtworks.com/discussion/forums[^]) but after being in a "pending" state (the forum is moderated) it has disappeared. Now - has anybody here any experience with Mingle? Does it work? Is it well supported? Is it just a small project being blown up by "web 2.0 hype"? It is build with Ruby (which I know absolutely nothing about) - does that add any special requirements to the browser / Java setup on the computer the software is running on? Should I install some kind of ruby-package? Ah well, hoping to hear from you :) BR /Jan

Do you know why it's important to make fast decisions? Because you give yourself more time to correct your mistakes, when you find out that you made the wrong one. Chris Meech on deciding whether to go to his daughters graduation or a Neil Young concert

Reading the blurb, it sounds more like hype than something with any real substance. It may bring value to a development, but I suspect that will be like other "management" tools and actually get in the way of doing your job.

Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.
