I just adjusted the colour settings for my monitor

    Its like opening my eyes for the first time... again. Not that i remember the first time i opened my eyes, meh. Anyways, i used this site: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/[^] Check it out. As it turns out, all the colour setting where fine, but for darker colours there was a cut-off point, where eveything would just go black, i never even noticed until i changed my wallpaper ;P

    My current favourite word is: Waffle Cheese is still good though.

      Weird, I thought I had done this before, but you're right, I had to adjust my gamma and some other settings and now everything is much better looking. I think I did this before with a different video card which explains why I had to do it again I guess. It makes quite a difference. I thought my monitor was quite good (Samsung Syncmaster lcd 17''), but it is a few years old now and it couldn't resolve the really dark squares. I've been thinking of getting something bigger anyway, maybe it's a good time to see what's out there.
