I'm currently downloading VS2008 SE. What issues do I need to be aware of wrt to running VS2005 & VS2008 on same system; - first of all - is that possible - if so then ...... ?? I'd like to read some articles on migration - whats available at MS is pretty skimpy

Yes, you can run seperate versions side-by-side. You don't have to do anything special to do it. Just install... The is no 2008 SE out yet. There is only the Beta versions. The release candidates and final versions are not out yet. There will eventually be an Express version you can download though.

Thanks Dave - given the vagaries of VS2005, can a beta of VS2008 be significantly more frustrating. rgds PhilD
