LOL... :) W2K on a 200mhz mmachine with only 32mb... I have the image of you loading your gun, pointing it at your foot and then wonding "Will this hurt?" :) Tim Smith I know what you're thinking punk, you're thinking did he spell check this document? Well, to tell you the truth I kinda forgot myself in all this excitement. But being this here's CodeProject, the most powerful forums in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question, Do I feel lucky? Well do ya punk?

I'm trying to install Win 2000 on an old 200MHz computer... I don't remember ever having been through such a slow installation process :wtf:. I mean, damn, took two hours already, and it's only just "Registering Components" X| Also, just a small question... what will happen when I take out the 128Mb RAM I just added because the installation required at least 64Mb RAM (and I had 32)... will Windows 2000 refuse to boot, or do I have a chance to get it working?
Cheers,

I installed Windows 2000 on my P-120 w/ 48MB Ram. Took a while, it was very stable but very slow, it felt like I was working through molasses. I now have a T-Bird 1.4 w/ 256MB ram, it pretty much flies :-D
