C# Web application for Taskbar icon

I had a web site i need to show some activity ICON in Taskbar. Icon will keep displaying updated Values upon receives from different users or Database. Just like when we receiv new email in Outlook express and populate small window.

I dont know how to do this... bcoz in window application we have notify icon control which is doing the same. but I need for Web Application, Thanks.
