    First of all a :wtf: (WTF smiley), now i am here in US for the first time, i have been here for 1 week and all i hear is: were you scrubbing elephant? do you have an elephant pet? how are the elephants in india? I am 32 years old and the only elephant i ever saw was in a zoo so what is this obsession and for the last time WE DONT EAT MONKEY BRAINS and stuff like that half the population here is vegetarian including me. And one more thing: WE DO NOT WORSHIP COWS, Cows are domestic animals here they are like dogs in US you dont eat dogs do you, so similarly we dont like to eat cows THATS IT. and dont even get me starting on the snake thing :rolleyes:. But all in all i like US, people are generally nice :-D

          Take it seriously. About a month back, I was escorting a dozen Europeans thru Karaikal, a small coastal town in southeast India and there was this elephant walking down the street. Of course we all had to stop and take pictures of everyone feeding the elephant bananas. The other time was when I was escorting a British visitor in Pune (south of Bombay) and there was this elephant walking down the street! I hadn't seen a sight like that in 3 months in Pune but the Britisher saw it on his first day.... he was visiting our company to see how well his off-shoring project was going.;P
