I am looking for somewhere to get a domain name, but it must has 50 separate e-mail accounts, each with different user/pass, does anyone has an experience with it?

Those are different things: 1. domain : this becomes yours, and is the name you'll have for accessing your place. 2. # of e-mails : you should speak with the guys who will host the page in your domain and then start buying different e-mail addresses. Of course you can set up your own mail server, I have one in our enterprise running under Linux for internal communications... Hope this helps.

Thanks for answer, but isn't there a no. of e-mail accounts with each domain name registration ?

Not typically, you register a domain and find a hosting company which will provide the email accounts. I use WebSiteSource[^] and would recommend them, they are pretty cheap and provide a great plan and service. regards,

if you run your own server it's totally up to you (and your servers capabilities), if you pay a hosting company to run the server for you, it depends what you buy from them. Even if the base plan has a lower maximum number of accounts they'll be willing to sell you more for an extra fee. As always, shop around to see who will give what you want for the best price.

I use godaddy.com . Quite cheap. You get 100 email forward accounts included with each domain, and a small mailbox. They do have expansion capabilites that might suit your needs. Domains like .com, .net, and .org cost US$8.95/yr + 0.21 ICANN fee. Often they'll have sales, as well. They've a sense of humor - and the "GO-DADDY" girl. I've used them for years (though mainly for email forwards) with not a single complaint.

I use http://www.1and1.com[^] for my domain name registrations. It costs $6.99 per year for the domain name which includes one email account of up to one or two GB. You can order more emails at $0.99 per month per five email boxes (2GB). These are POP/SMTP/IMAP and they have web access to the accounts also. So, for your needs, that would be: * $6.95 for the domain (annual fee) * $9.99 per month for 50 email accounts at $0.99 for five per month (2 GB) Or, if the total space of all email accounts can be handled in 2 GB, you could sign up for a hosting package at $3.99 per month that includes up to 600 email accounts and includes your domain name along with website hosting. Okay, that would be $3.99 per month for domain, 600 emails and website hosting with storage of 10 GB and monthly transfer of 300 GB. Note: I have only used the company for domain registration and the email that comes with the domain.
