Don't you just love it when someone shamelessly copies and pastes your article[^] into their blog[^], taking it as their own.

Its not your blog is it? But really, its disgraceful. You should sue them. That'll leave a splodgy mess in the back of their pants.

yes. I tried to fail 5 intro to programming students for assignment plagiarism when I was a TA, however, the professor let them off with a non-punitive warning against University policy. It wouldn't have been so bad except my entire job was to help them on the assignments and grade them. (Everyone that came for help invariably got an A on assignments) Even that girl at Harvard plagiarized that book. What gets me is that there is a community of acceptance. As if the only way to succeed is to steal someone else's work and pass it off as your own.

That is really lame. He should at least give you proper credit as being the author if he wants to use it on his blog rather than passing it as his own work.

The references section is still there and one of the references links back to another of my articles. At least I get credit for helping write the article... :->

What? What I remember of college, which was not that long ago, was plagiarism was a pretty much guaranteed way to automatically fail a class, or at least the assignment for which you'd done it on. Bizarre :(

Had, just the previous year, expelled nearly half of the computer science seniors for cheating and made the rest retake several classes. I think the professor was afraid of a repeat.

Man he's gettin blistered...good, I hope everyone keeps it up until the SOB fesses up! I had a boss one time that took credit for my work in front of me and the customer. I was so mad but kept my cool and started asking him technical questions about the application. He got so flustered and red in the face that the customer started smiling at me. He knew who did the work! Point is we are doing the same thing here, calling him out on the carpet and we'll see where it goes from there. Mike

Its not your blog is it? But really, its disgraceful. You should sue them. That'll leave a splodgy mess in the back of their pants.

I can only say....SHAME ON HIM To take someone elses work as your own is not only theft but ethically unacceptable. If we all band together and leave enough messages at his site maybe he will withdraw article or concede that its not his. By the way nice article (yours) Mike
