Hello! I am new in the field of shell programming, so my question may be strange. Is it possible to create a windows toolbar in .NET (C#)? I read this article http://www.codeproject.com/KB/shell/dotnetbandobjects.aspx[^] and I still don't understand how they work. Maybe someone can give me some simple explanation about it, and if it is possible to create a toolbar in C# in a simple way? Thanks!

    Have a nice day!

That article IS the simple explanation. A forum post just isn't going to cover everything you need to do to create a DeskBand. The code sample in that article IS the simple way to do it in C#. I would suggest you start reading everything you can on DeskBands. Just Google for "C# DeskBand" and you'll find a ton of stuff.
