Now that just has to be a euphemism. "What's Kyle doing in the bedroom? Wwhy he's darning his sock puppet."

What site upgrade? Transition to .NET? Well, that happened when, beginning of December? Things dont look too bad to me. P.S. I do agree that the upgrade caused a lot of missed visits to the site, but it really isnt as bad.

As bad as what? All I did was post a link to the graph and you get defensive for some reason.

If the insults you post on here are extreme for you then you must be a very quiet, boring person.

No it was RoswellNX, she made several threads trying to get attention and 5 votes and Nishant thought she was hitting on me.

Oh I am. I am indeed. This is what happens to those of us who get to have sex with another person on a regular basis. So how boring are you?

Oh no, another one of your EXTREME insults!!! Seriously though, the fact that only comeback you could come up with was along the lines "I have sex and you don't ha ha ha" just further proves my point you being dull and boring.

Kid - when your balls have dropped and your voice has broken, feel free and come back and play with the grown ups. Until then, don't think that "nah nah na nah nah" counts as grown up discourse.

I pointed out that you are witless, dull, and boring, and you think i was saying "nah nah nah"? That's ironic because this:

sure doesn't sound very grown up. Keep on though, this is hilarious, big mean Pete O Hanlon and his EXTREME insults. Why, if I wanted to see more extreme insults I might have to go find a Pokemon youtube video and look at the comments.

I doubt the upgrade has anything to do with the decline. More than likely, it was from the holiday season. People going on vacation, college classes having end of term around the beginning of December.
That's what I thought too. But the December dip in previous years is not as much. So this year's dip seems to be directly related to the site upgrade. For me personally, the site's still not very responsive half the time, and I often cannot load the page (specially during US peak hours). But when it's up, it's fast. And it has been getting better the last few weeks - so I expect it to be fully back to normal functionality by February or so.

My latest book : C++/CLI in Action / Amazon.com linkHey Nish, Yeah, we're concerned too and doing what we can to ensure that this transition is as seemless as it can be. We certainly knew that we'd see a hit from this, but it's an absolutely necessary thing for us to do. Probably much of this has to do with how the search engines index our content (old links to the .asp site will break) but it won't take long for things to work themselves out. I think your expectation of February is probably spot on.

Ah - my apologies, I was forgetting the first rule. Don't feed the trolls. I'll remember that and not bother with you anymore.

I'd agree with you, and while I keep drawing my 6 figure salary running my company I'm happy being the witless fool you think I am. So bye bye child.

Yeah, I thought of that. Even with Chris's URL auto-forwarding, some links still do break.
