when click on show hidden file and folder system restart

Hi all m using Windows XP Professional. I lost Folder option menu from Tools menu so i format all system with fdisk then i install XP but now When i click on Tools > Folder Options > Viewtab > show hidden file and folder system restart my system gets restart :confused: :confused: same thing happen with my another system also Is there any virus or spyware
