Univoter strikes again...
-
I think he waited until the middle of the night thinking nobody would notice (it's 3am here). I come to the lounge, and what shocking sight awaits me but that EVERY SINGLE POST that didn't have high votes is grayed out. I "returned balance to the world", as it were, and yet I can't shake this nagging feeling it only contributes to the problem... At least I don't have to look at all those gray posts anymore. Hah! :-D

The univoter is a sad lonely individual, whose only power in the world is to grey out other peoples posts. I suppose it is a he, because it seems the sort of thing that would be done by a male. A woman would not be bothered. To give pschoanalysis to him, he is likely one of two things. 1) Young, living with mother, virgin, socially inadequate, repressed, lacking confidence, technically astute but often overlooked. or 2) Older, Perhaps in his late 40's, married unhappily, his boss is younger than him and he is resentful, feels powerless at work so compensates!

I still feel that you should be able to see who has voted what so that you can exact sweet, sweet, revenge. :-)

 That would be "a platform to assist cyber vendettas against univoters" What I think should be done is some kind of OLAP. They could process that a certain user has been voting ones constantly for the last 20 days or so. Then it becomes easier. But in reality, all they guy has to do is to create a new account and voila, the return of the univoter

Yes I agree, it should be legitimate to vote a 1, if you can state why. I vote a 5 and say why, I vote a one and explain, it seems fair as to why you are doing so, and it shows courage to put your name to it!

But it wasn't me! Honest!!! I was busy sorting my mobile phone circuit boards into order of shades of green. With my mum.

That would be great - a leader board of the most 1 votes given!

I agree. And optionally add a suggestion on how further to improve. There is nothing in the world where there is no scope for improvement.

True. If the one-voter is spineless and does not have a courage to face and substantiate his stand, I don't think, there is any point to heed to his voting call or even entertain him.

I was in favour of changing the anonymous voting myself until Dr. M explained.
Cheers, Vikram.

Just ignore them. They will continue as long as people pay attention. That's all that these sad little people want.
