I have started looking for some GRE materials today ;P I wish to drive this computer stuff a bit far. Best regards, Paul. Jesus Christ is LOVE! Please tell somebody.

Hey Paul, Why do you need a MSc? Is it for a particular field of work, for your own personal benefit, or for an employer who demands it? (or all 3?) cheers, Chris Maunder I spent a minute looking at my own code by accident. I was thinking "What the hell is this guy doing?" - @Logan

Currently being paid as PhD holder for a programming job. I really wish to pick a degree too. I work in the GIS field, wish to do more and better, some wicked algorithm for cool graphics ;P I buy books, but a complete period of study will be better, I think! Any information on Aussie Universities? Best regards, Paul. Jesus Christ is LOVE! Please tell somebody.

The University of NSW (Sydney) and The Australian National University (ANU) (Canberra) are both excellent. Or if you like rainy weather but better restaurants then The University of Melbourne might be the go. If you are into GIS then I can give you contacts with the guys I was doing my (aborted) PhD with. They are based at Melbourne University, ANU and the CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Research Organisation). They all work together as part of Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs) so if you do your PhD through a CRC then you get to work with a variety of labs, universities and industries. It's a good setup. cheers, Chris Maunder I spent a minute looking at my own code by accident. I was thinking "What the hell is this guy doing?" - @Logan

Well, I have to plug my alma matter. After I left they became one of the five original centers in the National Science Foundation's Supercomputer Centers Program http://www.ncsa.uiuc.edu/About/NCSA/ To be conscious that you are ignorant of the facts is a great step towards Knowledge. Paul Selormey wrote: Hmmmm, you also aborted your PhD!!! Yeah - my supervisor and I disagreed over what was possible and what was impossible. In the end I realised I just didn't have any passion towards my work, so I moved on. No passion, no life. Paul Selormey wrote: The response to the post are not reaching me, why? Newsletter day. No passion, no life. I see. You do not want you mind to be a guinea pig :-D Anyway, you are still lucky - the review of my last paper was locked up in my Prof's bedroom, the school's Principal looked on unconcerned  Chris Maunder wrote: Newsletter day. As of 6PM last night at the casino main cage, the exchange rate was 1AUD = .49USD. The Rupee was not listed for some odd reason. I Drowned Schroedinger's Stupid Cat!

Go to University of Limerick in Ireland... www.ul.ie Well worth it. It's considered one of the best colleges in Europe for IT thingys.. I'll probably head there after my BSc or BEng.
