USB Scanner implementation using C#

Hello, we r doing project using USB scanner. when we scan a barcode i need Serial number of scanner to be detected with data... Now i am only able to read Data and even i got serial number of scanner when we connect it to system. But i need this scanner serial number to be fetched when i scan any barcode...i.e from which scanner barcode was read... is there any dll to fetch serial number at run time.. Plz can any one Help ... its very urgent requirement.....

You need the serial number that's printed on the hand scanner at the moment that they scan a barcode ? What does the manual that came with the bar code reader say ? It's pretty obvious that you need to read the documentation and look into the SDK that came with your barcode reader.

i have gone through the mannual they have provided but there is no option for that, and one thing i noticed in CD that there is no POS.exe provided for that. Only configuration settings are available....
