    1. this is our choice.. this is our freedom.. 2. Initially, I used to participate in ASP.NET and web developement forums but now, I feel really boring since the same questions keep on coming up again and again. sometimes, the one who asked the question simply ignores our answer and never reply.. sometimes, people just don't want to google their simple problem... so, it's so much far from fun.. 3. Whenever I feel tried with my work, I come to lounge and I really enjoy the conversations here.. Lounge is very nice for me..

Thanks and Regards, Michael Sync ( Blog: http://michaelsync.net)

I am not wasting time. I am here, because all our Indian friends post programming questions (coding doubts or whatever you call it) here in the lounge.

It is an individual perception on what is conceptualized as wastage of time or adding utility value. When you have put in so much effort just to fruitlessly analyze other people's demographics and browsing patterns thus coming to a hapless and hopeless conclusion that Lounge is a wastage of time, I am just reminded of a simple medical syndrome: A person affected with Jaundice ("Yellow Fever") feels that everything is yellow. Similarly you see everything is debris around you because yourself is just ____.

Since I'm too busy helping other guys to solve their problems, I cannot waste my time answering you in the lounge. :-D

It is not a big rocket science and is a very common thing in India. People loiter around everywhere flirting with the friends of opposite sex in the cafeteria and restaurants till the 23rd hour and then rush up to make some fancy things trading off quality.

It's not time wasted. For example, I gained insight today into the nature of frameworks: You might say a framework is a structured, possibly hierarchical, interconnected collection of components (whereas a library is a loose collection of disconnected components).[^] I was also reminded about how valuable this community is: CP is just kind of AWESOME in that regard because it's a virtual extension of our professional lives. We don't know each other in person but we know each other well.[^] And read reviews of the movie Transformers: Very cool.[^] I learned that thermals, fleece, jacket, gloves, scarf and hat[^] are not appropriate apparel this time of year in Melbourne. I learned that it is possible for CPians to use a chainsaw[^] without losing appendages[^]. There is a problem with interferance between WLAN and weather radar[^]. I had no idea. There were other things I learned having to do with Ruby on Rails, Career choices, Star Wars ASCII movies (using telnet of all things) and so on... So you see, it was far from time wasted. :-D

Cool. I'll start a thread in the Lounge as soon as my trip is confirmed. It will be great to meet up with you people. We'll have some fun. :)

Sooner we initiate the thread is better since last time we had a very short note and hence the CP Meet message could reach only to a few people. And we missed Satips also. :)

Unfortunately, it is the too big hurdle that we are finding hard to tackle. When the cricket match comes, we can see the folks running into the shared television without caring for the deliverables.
