    Using brackets inside a parenthesized phrase (like [this] one) just looks wrong, even though it's stylistically correct.

      Don't get me started. The POS who wrote Notes uses the Internet Explorer WebBrowser ActiveX control to render HTML, but they intercept and modify the HTML before they pass it to the control. Morons.

            You're typing an email and you press Escape then: - you press W to go to the next word... - you press $ to go to the end of the line... - you press x multiple times to delete that little mistake you just made... And last but not least... Your spell check keyboard shortcut is :w:ksh -n % It's not just .NET that's addictive, you know. :-D

                  I would find myself hitting Alt-F S out of habit on long emails to "save" the "document" (one of those habits one learns early when using this ultrareliable technology we have). On some email programs, that sends the email, so I used to send a lot of unfinished emails. Marc

                              if you write x/y (at school!) you wonder if it's floating point or integer division when_you_separate_words_with_the_underline_character when your school notebook begins with coding header (eg. UTF-8) when you want to find a fragment in a book you scream "CTRL+F! CTRL+F!!" (no, really, I do xD)
