    Any recommendations out there on one that is well supported and developed of late? Looking to spend some time with one that would ideally have good classic UI controls support and ideally, (bit odd this) not just gaming type vizualisation? Have come across this : http://www.microsoft.com/express/samples/GameCreators/[^] Wouldn't mind checking out the XNA 2 offerings either to play with ideas in managed world first before diving in deeper. TIA.

      well i dont know about game engine recs. but if you made a zombie game, i would play it :)

          Well, id's Quake Engines come to mind, as well as the Unreal Engines. Other than that, and if its not game specific, what about Torque, Irrlicht and other more affordable products? If the application is simple, Blitz3D might enable you to implement it fairly quick...
