Hello, Yesterday I run into a big problem... is my dt-mini migo stick. I cannot write anything on it it say that the disc is write protected, I cannot format it, the only think i can do is copy the data. I have some important data there and I really want to repair it if it is possible. I don't have any button on the stick to change the read only attribute. I read some thread on other sites about this problem and seems like I am not the only one in this case. But didn't find any solution. So if you can help please do so Thanks guys

So what's the problem? Copy the data to your hard drive.

      Best wishes, Hans

This is why you shouldn't scan titles. I thought this read, "Klingon Pain Stick." But then, you have to consider the kind of weekend I've had... :)

Check to make sure the attributes of the files already on the stick are not "Read Only". Also, there is a limitation on the number of files in the root directory for most storage devices - see [^] which says the limit is 512 entries (or less if long file names are used) - describing the error message "Unable to create <"New Folder">. Make sure the disk is not full or read-only.

I have 491 mb out of 1 giga All the files and folder are set to read only and I cannot change this.... I have just 20 files and folders on the route directory. When I try to format the disk it tells me that the disk is write protected. Is there a sollution to remove this protection, a software?
