Anyone having weekend plans? It's going to be a nice weekend in Holland, so I'm probably lighting the BBQ for the first time this year :)

Yeah, on saturday I'm flying over to Holland (so I'm glad to hear it'll be nice!) from the UK and then chilling out until tuesday when I have to come back :) It'll be nice to have a good break from work.

I'll be resting for the first half of tomorrow and may go for badminton and swimming in the evening. On sunday, we have some celebrations scheduled at our office and I'll be attending it.

We view you with enviable detestable envy. The climate here is horrendously hot frying everyone and smoke coming out of the heads if you forget to wear a cap and walk at noon. Tomorrow I have a quick drive to a temple in the outskirts of the city. Sunday would be mostly to sleep and snore, get refreshed for a fresh week ahead.

hmm haven't had time to check the weather forecast yet. But when you say nice weather I think i am going to get my mountain bike out of the garage and have some fun with it :). Next to this probably not much, maybe if i can get my hands on a Mario Kart copy for the Wii. I might have some ( read: probably throughout the night ) game time. For the rest probably relax and enjoy the nice weather in the park :) One of the few in Amsterdam.

drinks and dinner and drinks with friends this late after-noon and evening ... yes, twice the drinks. Sunday brunch (or dinner) with family with fresh crabs that are in season now. Other than that, a real week-end away from work, first time since easter and a long time before that.

We've already fired up the BBQ 3 times now, but the weather has been so erratic, fluctuating between 3C and 38C. I kid you not, this has been happening for the last 3 weeks, and in the extreme case it happened across 2 days where it was 7C in the morning, went up to 28C by 3 in the afternoon, settled at 15C during the night and then shot up to 35C by the time it was noon. This is the first time in history that fluctuations of this sort have been occurring in the Middle East. This weekend it has cooled down, but possibly next weekend I'll be bringing out the gril for a few steaks and Kebabs :yum:

My usual weekend plans -- sleep and try and stay warm. It's been unseasonably cold in the Pacific Northwest this spring. The weather monkeys are predicting snow for Saturday morning. Snow?!? :doh: Flynn
