free MP3 editing software?
-
Hello all, I would like to cut one song and make it start from low volume to 100% of it progressively. Do you know of any free MP3 editing software that could allow me to do that? As always thank you in advance... PS: is it me or there is a new big banner here making it clearer to not post programming questions here?

Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/[^] - free & easy you need a little documented "hack" (using the lame encoder) to export to mp3 - but should work well for what you want.
All the label says is that this stuff contains chemicals "... known to the State of California to cause cancer in rats and low-income test subjects."
